Vellupix — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-30

Vellupix is a private PDF and image workbench for iPhone and iPad provided by SOFTFORGE DIGITAL LTD. Selected documents are transformed on your device and are not sent to SoftForge Digital.

1. The short version

  • Vellupix has no account, sign-in, developer-operated backend, cloud database, advertising, analytics, tracking, purchase, external OCR, or external AI service.
  • SoftForge Digital does not receive, collect, sell, or share the PDFs, images, page edits, filenames, or exports you use inside Vellupix.
  • Import, page arrangement, cropping, rotation, compression, metadata removal, PDF generation, and image export run on the device.

2. Files and Photos you select

When you import from Files, Apple's document picker lets you select specific PDFs or images. Vellupix uses security-scoped access only while coordinating and reading the selected item, then releases that access. If a file is stored by iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider and iOS may download it according to your settings; SoftForge Digital does not operate or receive that transfer.

When you choose from Photos, Apple's system Photos picker provides copies of only the images you select. Vellupix does not request broad photo-library access or retain Photos-library identifiers. An iCloud-only photo may need to download through Apple's service before it can be imported.

3. On-device transformation

Vellupix immediately decodes and re-encodes selected images without copying source GPS, EXIF, IPTC, or TIFF metadata. Imported PDF pages are flattened into clean page images. This removes original PDF metadata, forms, annotations, attachments, scripts, selectable text, and vector structure from Vellupix output.

The current workbench is held in memory and is not written to a Vellupix document library. Vellupix applies file, image-dimension, PDF-page, and total-page limits to reduce memory and stability risk. Unsupported, encrypted, damaged, or oversized files are rejected with an explanation.

4. Temporary exports and sharing

Vellupix creates PDFs or JPEGs in its temporary app directory only after you choose an export action. It removes its managed temporary exports when a new app session begins and when you clear the workbench where possible.

Nothing is shared automatically. A file leaves Vellupix only after you open Apple's system share sheet and select another app, person, device, or storage location. That destination handles its copy under its own terms and privacy practices. Vellupix cannot delete a copy you deliberately sent or saved elsewhere.

5. Network use, Apple services, and this website

Vellupix contains no custom networking, advertising, analytics, remote crash-reporting, external OCR, or external AI SDK. Apple may separately process App Store downloads, iCloud or file-provider downloads, system sharing, and optional analytics or diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

Opening this policy or the Vellupix support page occurs in your web browser outside the private document workflow. The website receives ordinary web-request information and any support information you choose to send. Visiting either page is optional and is not required for Vellupix's core functions.

6. Changes to this policy

If a future Vellupix release adds persistence, sync, a developer-operated service, analytics, advertising, an account, purchases, or another form of data processing, this policy, the in-app explanation, privacy manifest, and App Store disclosures will be updated before that behavior is released.

Questions about Vellupix or this policy can be sent to support@softforge.digital.
