Account Deletion

If you have an account in any application or service operated by SoftForge Digital, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to make a request, what gets deleted, and what we may retain.
1. How to request deletion
To request the deletion of your account and personal data, please send an email to contact@softforge.digital with the subject 'Account Deletion Request' and include the following information:
- The application or service name in which you have an account
- The email address (or other identifier) used for the account
- A short statement confirming that you are the account owner and wish to delete the account
2. In-app deletion
Some of our applications also offer in-app account deletion. If your application has a 'Delete account' option in its settings, you can use that instead — it produces the same result.
3. Verification
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request, to protect against unauthorized deletion. Verification typically uses the email address or phone number associated with the account.
4. What gets deleted
- Your account profile and authentication credentials
- Personal information collected from you (name, contact details, preferences)
- Application-specific personal data linked to your account (your messages, your usage history within the app, custom settings)
- Backups containing your personal data, on rolling deletion as backups age out
5. What we may retain
We may retain limited information for legitimate purposes, such as:
- Records required by law (for example, transaction records for tax, accounting, or anti-money-laundering obligations)
- Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you
- Information needed to detect, investigate, or prevent fraud and abuse
- Records needed to handle disputes or enforce our agreements
6. Timeframe
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or by the technical limitations of our backup systems. We will notify you when deletion is complete.
7. Effect of deletion
After deletion, you will no longer be able to access your account or its content, and we will not be able to recover the data on your behalf. If you wish to use our services again, you will need to create a new account.
