Pagivell — Privacy Policy

1. The short version

• Pagivell has no account, sign-in, developer-operated backend, cloud database, advertising, analytics, tracking, or external OCR or AI service.
• SoftForge Digital does not receive, collect, sell, or share your scans, document library, edits, filenames, or exports through Pagivell.
• Scanning, editing, organization, and export work without a Pagivell server or internet connection.

2. Camera and Photos picker

Pagivell requests camera access only after you choose to scan an ID, passport, or document. Apple's document-scanning interface performs capture, edge detection, cropping, and perspective correction on the device. You can deny camera access and instead import existing images.

When you choose Import from Photos, Apple's system Photos picker lets you select specific images. Pagivell does not request broad access to your photo library and receives only the items you deliberately select. If a selected item exists only in iCloud Photos, iOS may need an internet connection to download it according to your Apple settings. SoftForge Digital does not operate or receive that transfer.

3. On-device editing and document generation

Page detection, cropping, rotation, filters, ordering, image combination, and PDF generation occur locally using Apple frameworks. Pagivell does not upload document content to SoftForge Digital or to an external OCR, artificial-intelligence, analytics, or advertising provider.

4. Local storage and retention

Saved document records and page order are stored in a local SwiftData database. Page images use protected files with opaque names inside Pagivell's private Application Support container. This notice applies to Pagivell for iOS and iPadOS, bundle identifier digital.softforge.Pagivell.

Pagivell marks its managed database, document pages, and temporary export folders as excluded from device and iCloud backups. Local documents remain until you delete them, use the confirmed Delete All Scans action, or remove Pagivell and its data through iOS. Because there is no account or backend, SoftForge Digital cannot view, recover, synchronize, export, correct, or remotely delete your local documents.

5. Export and sharing

Pagivell can create one combined image, separate page images, or a multipage PDF without a watermark. Nothing is shared automatically. An export leaves Pagivell only after you choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet.

The selected app, person, storage location, or online service then handles its copy under its own terms and privacy practices. Deleting a document in Pagivell cannot delete copies you previously chose to send or save elsewhere.

6. Network use, Apple services, and this website

Pagivell contains no custom networking, advertising, analytics, remote crash-reporting, external OCR, or external AI SDK. Apple may separately process App Store downloads, iCloud Photos downloads, device services, and optional analytics or diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

Opening this page or contacting support occurs outside Pagivell's private local document workflow and is governed by the general SoftForge Digital website privacy policy. These optional website interactions are not required for core scanning, editing, library, or export features.

7. Changes to this policy

If a future Pagivell release adds cloud sync, a developer-operated service, analytics, advertising, an account, purchases, or another form of data processing, this policy, the in-app explanation, the privacy manifest, and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that behavior is released.
