Hushstraw — Privacy Policy

1. The short version

• Hushstraw has no account, login, backend, cloud database, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDK.
• SoftForge Digital does not receive gameplay, progress, settings, device identifiers, or personal information through Hushstraw.
• Every level is generated locally and all core gameplay works without an internet connection.

2. Local gameplay data

Hushstraw stores progress, completed-level records, campaign seeds, gameplay totals, onboarding state, and preferences in the app's private local storage. This information is used only to resume your journey and settings on that device.

You can reset progress from inside the app. Removing the app removes its local container according to iOS behavior. SoftForge Digital cannot view, recover, synchronize, correct, or remotely delete this local data because Hushstraw has no account or server.

3. Sharing and daily levels

Daily levels are derived locally from the UTC calendar date and do not contact a server. Share codes are generated on the device. If you choose Share, Apple's system share sheet lets you select a destination; the selected app or service then handles that copy under its own terms. Hushstraw does not send the code to SoftForge Digital.

4. Permissions, networking, and required-reason APIs

Hushstraw requests no access to the camera, microphone, Photos, contacts, location, Bluetooth, local network, or notifications and contains no custom networking code.

Its privacy manifest declares UserDefaults access for app-only settings and progress, and System Boot Time access used only to calculate short renderer timers. These values are not used for fingerprinting, tracking, or transmission off the device.

5. Website, Apple services, and changes

Opening this page or contacting support occurs outside Hushstraw and is governed by the SoftForge Digital website privacy policy. Apple may separately process App Store downloads, device backups, and optional analytics or diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

If a future Hushstraw release changes these practices, this notice, the in-app privacy explanation, the privacy manifest, and the App Store disclosures will be updated before that behavior ships.
